I think he’s referring to the fact that Dr. David Martin claimed to be providing a summary of all patents related to coronavirus and covid19 after allegedly having conducted a comprehensive review of them all. It was one of those “I did the unpleasant task so you wouldn’t have to” type things. His summary left out crisper gene editing and by propagating the illusion that somebody had already done the research and provided a summary, people did not feel the need to do it themselves…for a while anyway.
