I have done night timelapse photography before and I can guarantee you that it is not CGI. The stars are not twinkling because the camera shutter is too slow (avg.15 seconds) to pick up the twinkling.

The guy behind Russianvids should invest in a DSLR and take the time to educate himself on timelapse photography and camera sliders before making a fool of himself by making videos like these.
