Jesus said that he would send a "helper" to guide us. The times before Jesus didn’t get that promise. Only his followers after Jesus rose from the dead got that promise. As Christians we are taught that old law was replaced by a much easier law. But Jesus says, if you love me, keep my commands. His commands are of His Father. John 1:1 and John 1:14 tells us who Jesus is. So if I may ask, which command of the old testament don’t you like keeping?

After Egypt the Israelites later split with nine (or ten) tribes to the north and three tribes to the south. The north was always called Israel and the South was always called Judah.
