When I was active duty I came back to work after being off for vacation. I came in and logged into my computer and a few minutes later, outside our office a loud male voice screamed "WHAT DOES IT TAKE FOR SOMEONE TO LISTEN TO ME AROUND HERE?" And then gunshots... I was scared shitless even though our office had a lock panel and thick walls for security ..but it was crazy, my coworkers turned off the lights and we were all under our desks..I tried to phone my husband but couldn’t because I would "make too much noise"...so I mouthed "wtf is going on" and they kept telling me to be quiet....more gunshots...I’m freaking..I hear him screaming down the hallway some more....then my supervisor said "go turn on the lights, the drill is over" I was unaware but the rest of them were snd decided not to tell me when I got back to work. So if done right, these can appear real to those not aware of the drills. But I know these events that happen are nothing more and each time I’m reminded of just how realistic...and fake...they can get.
