The number of ’unknowing’ and/or stupid is really small. Most know. And go along (enablers) because they hate to start the thinking process that would lead them to certain conclusion for which they know would change their fiction about how the world works. For most the ignorance is bliss, bliss that maintains status quo, and they very well know that their life would have to change if they started thinking reasonably. The number of complicit is very high. But you are wrong in thinking that the society has fundamentally changed for the worst. It always was as is now, only your eyes have been opened and oppressors have uncloaked themselves and myriad of control subsystems have been revealed to you, the subsystems that you never knew they were there operating subsurface all the time, squeezing the prison walls on you and that also revealed certain people, operators of those subsystems, willfully ignoring reality and choosing to live the bliss of fiction as long as it lasts. Majority knows. Most know (consciously-those who protest or subconsciously-those who comply) that it is all over, tilt, bingo, rien-ne-va-plus and only wait (excited or serene) in expectation for the ball to miss their number.
