An interesting hypothesis. This video "expose" starts out with a logical examination into big businesses, and political special interest in protecting their own cause by subterfuge, but then the theme of this video switches to climate change, without applying the very same, aforementioned, critical thinking process of careful examination. The mechanics of vaping and pot smoking can be used as an example. There seems to be a controversy as to each activities comparative health consequences, as if there is a difference. One seldom hears of anyone holding a belief that breathing anything other than clean natural air is an unhealthy, negative activity. When people use logical thinking sometimes they get branded as a nut, not wanting others to partake of a certain activity. I.E. Your’re a climate change skeptic, you must be a conservative republican. Is it possible in these backwards times to have an opinion about a topic, and not be jammed into a convenient category? As far as the vaping and pot smoking example goes ,I say go ahead!, but I question why people have an apparent need to apply a framework of lying justification and vilification of others when doing so? How about, "Hey I don’t deny the risks, but I like it and am willing to assume any negative consequences". As far a tobacco smoking goes the anti smokers mantra has always been "yes, but society has to pay for the health consequences of smoking". The same could be said for a person addicted to eating twinkies, or too many steaks, too much alcohol, etc. etc. etc.
