He’s dead wrong about the Smith Mundt act! The Smith-Mundt Act ONLY stated that the US STATE DEPT can’t use fake news/propaganda. All other Govt agencies could pull propganda, hoaxes, lies, etc! That’s why they could get away with Columbine, the Safeway Drill (the Gabby Giffords hoax), the Luby’s Cafeteria Shooting hoax and the Texas Tower shooting hoax, and even both Kennedy shootings. Heck, Lincoln even faked his own death once he was re-elected and could set up the VP to takeover that nobody liked. These staged events have been going on for far too long, and the Smith Mundt act was just a little bandaid over dam of lies and fake events. They pushed that bill to make it look like all govt offices were required not to make propaganda, when that was farthest from the truth.
