As an ex-Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Technician I can assure these are not REAL pipe bombs. Either that or the Bomb Squad on scene are complete idiots. From the pics with the pipe caps removed, you can not by no means unscrew them off because smokeless powder is highly sensitive to friction. To uncap those pipes bombs you risk a high possibility to detonate the device. There is a certain process dealing with a pipe bomb and I assure you that never took place. Also in the pics all you see are the screws and not a speck of smokeless powder anywhere those screws are fresh off the shelf clean. Also yes I see no visible fuse or fuzing system to detonate these fake pipe bombs. It is complete bullshit, nothing but cosplay going on here.
