I’m 69 years old. I remember as I grew up in an almost totally white community...we were taught to fear Malcolm X because he took a more violent stance than Martin Luther King. We saw the film clips of the more violent nature of his speeches. I remember watching the Malcolm X film with Denzel Washington and getting a whole new perspective on him. So far I’ve watched two of the Netflix episodes and its astounding how much the truth varied from what we were taught and what we heard n the mainstream media.
