The media is whipping folks up to panic buy. I was out today as I usually am on Thursdays for groceries, and it was the worst I’ve seen ever. No toilet paper of course, water and rice, flour and butter seemed to be flying off shelves too. When I was in the checkout line, I overheard a lady saying to other woman that she has family in Milan and they have now closed all the restaurants and can only go to a grocery store IF they provide a doctors note stating they are not infected. NOW THAT IS DISTURBING. On my drive home they announced the NBA, BASEBALL, NHL are all cancelled, plus St. Patty’s day parade the JUNO Awards and now ALL ONTARIO PUBLIC SCHOOLS. Then they said as of midnight it’s possible that 17,000 nurses could go on strike if they don’t have a new contract. THE WORLD IS GOING MAD! There has been one dead in a long term care facility in 80’s and underlying health issues. Seriously? Even our village idiot Prime Minister Trudeau is in SELF QUARANTINE since is wife just returned from the U.K. and wasn’t feeling well. Funny TRUMP banned travel to Europe everywhere EXCEPT the U.K. Folks must wake up to what is happening before we are ALL under some sort of lockdown, and I assure you, it wont be pretty.
