Interesting - I just read that healthline link from Austin Texas. I didn’t realize when I wrote my last comment that there is some apparent evidence for a correlation between Morgellons and Lyme disease. I was just using Lyme disease as an example of how doctors will often deny the existence of a disease they don’t understand and chalk it up to delusion until too many cases appear to continue to deny it.

People used to be referred to psychologists for their symptoms from Lyme disease and other tick-borne illnesses. There is now no doubt about Lyme disease, caused by Borrelia burgdorferi, and ongoing research programs to study it and similar tick-borne illnesses. There has been enough compelling suspicion about members the US government and/or military intentionally releasing Lyme and/or other tick-borne disease agents into the environment, possibly to study their spread, to even be reported in mainstream news a couple or few years ago. The only thing that would keep nanotechnology from being released on the population is the physical limitations of the technology itself. I don’t really know what those limitations are. There should at least be some research being conducted directly upon those fibers coming out of peoples’ skin to determine what they are composed of. Also, skin cell cultures could be used to see if the fibers can be propagated outside of a body to help study them if that could be done. Have any non-human animals ever been observed to have fibers of that type produced in their skin? They could possibly be a type of misregulation caused by a pathogen or toxic situation, causing the disregulated growth of keratin and/or other protein fibers, like growing hair or fingernails in the wrong place. Obviously, the body is capable of growing odd fibers, or we would not have hair and fingernails.

That was a long time ago. For each modern person, all potentially nefarious things done by governments ceased around the time they went to grade school and their teachers explained that, although governments “made some mistakes” in the past, they are the ones you should trust in modern times and they no longer do bad things.

Many of the masks are made with electrostatically-charged filters. Fibers will move around in odd-looking ways when electrostatically charged. Like rubbing a balloon on your hair. However, I would’t want to be breathing any of those big snaky fibers. Whatever they are, they can’t be good to suck into your lungs.

This is not terribly surprising. It is what happens when processing samples like this becomes a pure profit industry. The technicians often will not care too much because they are just trying to get through the day and will be under high pressure from their bosses to meet their quotas. Their bosses will keep that pressure on them because it is the bosses who get the bonuses when their divisions are profitable. The technicians get nothing or else a flat, small, profit share generally, so they have no incentive to do more than try to get through their day and not get fired. The directors turn their heads and don’t see the problems until it looks like issues might be discoverable.
