I think your interpretation of motivations is pretty accurate, but in terms of facts about the Rothschild patent (yes, they are megalomaniacs), the fact checkers are actually technically correct. Ignorance goes both ways, and people spreading the rumor that a "covid-19 testing" patent was issued or applied for in 2015 do not understand how patents work. The Rothschild patent "System and Method for Testing for COVID-19", patent US20200279585A1, was written in 2020 with a priority date of 2015-10-13, referring to "Priority to US201562240783P", which was a provisional patent application, first referred to in 2017 patent US20170229149A1, entitled "System and Method for Using, Biometric, and Displaying Biometric Data", and having nothing to do with "Covid-19". It doesn’t make the Rothschild intent to monitor and control everyone any better, but there was no mention of covid-19 at that time. That was tacked on to a previous patent in 2020, which gives the patent holder retro-active legal standing for saying that their covid-19 patent supersedes other, newer patents by virtue of having a related patent already issued.
