Adam, I can see her, right? And you actually tell me about what, how did you find out about this shooting? You were on your way to school, right? Yeah, I was on the way to school. Yeah, I was on the way to school. Yeah, I was on the way to school. I was walking just right over, really close to the school, to the school. And I got in text that people would heard a lot of loud booms. And that they think there was a shooter. I didn't believe it at first. I thought maybe like a generator blew up. But then I saw more cops. And I decided to call my mom and tell her that I was going to come back home. And so I walked back home. And I got lots of texts from people. We have a reaction interview with a student who has inside a classroom. And those shots were fired this morning. Right after 7.30, let's listen to what she had to say. It was Adirma Homeric when Ed Varshten running. It was Adirma Homeric when Ed Varshten running. So I started running too. And I was able to hide in the nursing office under the table. And I waited there till the cops came to get me to for me to be safe. The classroom reading my book and until a few kids were coming in, they were panicking, they're sick. And we were hiding there for the whole time until the police offered this cane. I'm still in there. Are you in contact with him? Yes, I am. He's been texting. He says he's been texting. He's been texting. He's on lockdown. He was worried about me coming here because of the shooter. But I said, I'm just across the street. I'll wait for you. But they're taking him to Central Park from what I understand when they evacuate them. So I just want to see him. Havi, he got in here, obviously, before. So he has first period. And then other kids have start their dates for second period. So he was already here. What maybe tell you of anything of what he saw or heard? He didn't tell me what he heard. What maybe tell you of anything of what he saw or heard? He didn't tell me what he heard or saw. He just said that he'd be there on lockdown. Don't come. And we're just talking now with Michael. You, he is a senior here, his mother, who was just reunified with here at the park. Michael, talk to us about when you first realized something was wrong this morning. So I was in the band room. And I saw a girl running in saying that there was a shooting. And then I didn't hear exactly what she said. Or I didn't hear any gunshots. That I know what she said. Or I didn't hear any gunshots. That I didn't hear any gunshots. That I didn't hear any gunshots. That I know other people probably did. But after that, then our band director told us to run into. We have these other rooms inside of the band rooms. So we ran into, like, there's a music library and there's an office. Half of us ran into the music library. The other half ran into his office. And we stayed there for about 30 minutes to 40 minutes after the police came in and told us to remain calm and that they were there. And then after we were escorted into the choir room, which is connected to the choir room, into the choir room, which is connected. So you waited until police actually got to you. You guys did not try to venture out? No, we didn't try because, yeah, because we're all blah, like there's about like 40 or 30 of us in that one room. So we didn't try looking out. We just stayed and put it there. She texting you as this was all unfolding. He was telling us that he said that he said that one teacher was pretty badly injured and that he believes that somebody else was shot there in the quad. He wasn't sure exactly who or what, but he was pretty scared and but he felt secure there with his coach. And yeah, he seemed to be OK. So did he see some of us unfold? Did he hear it? How was he getting the information fold? Did he hear it? Did he hear it? Did he hear it? How was he getting the information that he was relaying to you? Do you know? Not that I'm aware of. No. He just was as chaotic. Not that I'm aware of. Not that I'm aware of. No. He just was as chaotic and he was locked up in the classroom. And that's all that he knows. Take us back to the beginning. This was early in the morning. What do you remember? Did you hear the gunshots? I didn't hear it, but I remember did you hear? Remember did you hear? Did you hear the gunshots? I didn't hear it, but I didn't hear it. I didn't hear it, but I was sitting in a room. And then one of my good friends came in and they there are a couple of them. They all looked really panicked. And one of them started crying saying that's the gunshots. And so my teacher reacted very quickly and we were all ushered into a locked room. A daughter texted me. He said, Hey, I love you mom. I hope I get to see you again. How many rounds of my insurance? Approximately six rounds. Approximately six rounds.
