Because right from the very start, while you constantly droned on about it, not being a political symbol, it always was and still is a political symbol. And that's why you don't want to remove it. It's so true. Going outside, maskless with other vaccinated adults. It's really wonderful and freeing, but at the back of your mind is this idea that, oh my god, what if people think I'm a Republican for God forbid a Trump supporter?
