I'm so kind of confused. I've just seen multiple people on the ground. There's a lot of people around here. It's crazy. A chaotic seat, multiple people shot officers trying to sort commuters from victims. All of a sudden we just heard a bunch of gunshots and everyone was just sort of stunned. Alex Bennett is a former nurse and Brandon help. He was crying because it hurt and he was like I don't want to die. I don't want to die. I just told him like you're not going to die. You're going to be okay. I see no signs. I see no signs. They've been telling lies. They've been telling lies. We're hearing for the first time tonight from a man who survived the downtown Seattle shooting. He was one of seven people shot. One woman died. He told Kyro Seven's Deborah Horne about the strangers who came to save him. It was just a normal Wednesday night. Randall Sullivan was walking home from his job at Amazon. He was standing on this corner when he says something happened that he never imagines. So I just took off in the direction I was facing like across the maces. And then that's when I could feel like the pain like right here in my leg. Randall Sullivan calmly recalls a January night like no other. When he and five innocent people were struck by gunfire in the heart of downtown Seattle. One victim died. Randall ran a few steps. Then dropped because of the pain. Yeah, the pain and I think the shock of everything just happening. I just sort of you know lost balance or just the concentration and just kind of fell to the ground. And I kind of just called out and said like I'm shot like I'm shot. A security guard and an off duty nurse raced over to help. And I remember asking like am I going to die like am I going to lose my leg? Like how much of my bleeding? Incredibly doctors discovered the bullet penetrated his left thigh and broke into fragments. Getting incredibly doctors discovered the bullet penetrated his left thigh and broke into fragments but broke no bones. But broke no bones. But broke no bones. You serious? They just kind of cleaned it up. No stitches and they released me. I even know painkillers just ibuprofen. Lord, it's a miracle. This is conspiracy. That's what this is. One big damn conspiracy. And everyone's in on it. Me, I even know painkillers just ibuprofen. And was that sufficient? It was a lot of ibuprofen. It was a lot of ibuprofen. It was a lot of ibuprofen. So he's an idiot? No narcotics, no anything. My goodness. My goodness. And the fake news refused to call it, right? Because they are the fake, fake, disgusting news. I see no decides. I see no decides. They've been telling lies. They've been telling lies. Randall Sullivan says he was on his way home from work on January 22nd. I was texting with my wife who was looking, she was trying to get suggestions for dinner because she was down in San Diego for work. Then he says he heard a loud series of pops at first not seeing anything out of the ordinate. But when I turned back around to sort of in the direction I was looking, I saw everybody else was like running away from where I was and I kind of realized then that the pops that I had heard were gunshots and just sort of ran immediately. But Sullivan didn't get far. That's when I saw blood starting to like in the pant leg and like coming down the pant leg and I realized that I had been shot. He was hit and went down to the ground in front of a coffee shop. I looked up and I thought I saw somebody there so I kind of just screamed out like I've been shot like I've been shot. Fish Ranger. How's it going? You look a lot better. Thank you so much. You're just here. Inside that shop was Alex Bennett, a former nurse who instinctively ran out to help. You were very worried. I mean, you didn't say like, am I going to die? I mean, it was scary. So I don't blame you but I mean, I could tell that you weren't going to die. And so I was like, I felt confident saying like, you're not going to die. Bennett even trying to help Sullivan reach his wife. He is. And it even trying to help Sullivan reach his wife. And it even trying to help Sullivan reach his wife. And it even trying to help Sullivan reach his wife. Like trying to mess with his phone and I was just like, okay, I can text for you and let her know what's going on. She texted his wife the whole time as he was taking the hardwood. Thank you. You're welcome. And that's for me and my wife for just providing a sense of calm and some much needed details to my wife who has terrified a thousand miles away. And I think just that early kind of settling help just set the tone for that scenario, at least in my own head for the rest of the night. So thank you so much. You're welcome. I'm really glad that you're okay. I mean, Sullivan says that there are still two bullet fragments in his leg. He has a little bit of a limp right now. And says that there are still two bullet fragments in his leg. He has a little bit of a limp right now. Oh, please. That's blowing it. You look ridiculous. You know, my father is to say. You want me to grab one out of here, please. He used to say to me, don't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining. I'll be keeping track now. Watch out for the snakes. Watch out for the snakes. Yeah. Watch out for the snakes. Watch out for the snakes. Yeah. Watch out for the snakes. Yeah. Watch out for the snakes. Yeah. Watch out for the snakes. Yeah. Watch out for the snakes. Yeah.
