Looks like the Krispy Kreme donuts, after a long day of crisis acting, are getting to little Samuel Arellano’s head. Seems like there’s a tiny bit of confusion over when it was known that little Samuel was shot.
First, Samuel says he knew he was shot in the moment. Then, somehow no one knew he was shot until the family got home. The devil, as the saying goes, is in the details.

His family didn't realize he'd actually been shot, not just hit or stepped on. When we went out of the house, we found that when we found the bullet wounds and we found that he was in the hospital. That's when they found the bullet wounds in his rib. My mom was crying. My dad rushed to call 911. My sister came and told me he was going to be okay in the center of the car.
