Chicago Mayor Lori Lifehood has threatened her city's police that if they refuse to follow her mandate and try to retire instead, she could deny them their hard-earned retirement benefits. Yeah. So you asked the question of why the lawsuit? Because we believe that the FOP leadership is trying to foment in a legal workstop at your strike. Not only is the city firing thousands of police officers, but they are struggling with recruiting new talent to the force, of course, for obvious reasons. In response to Chicago, gutting their police force over mandates, the Indiana Senator Mike Braun gave an open invitation to the jobless officers, quote, our police do the hardest job in the world, and they deserve respect. Not losing their pay or being fired for refusing to comply with a ridiculous mandate. Indiana's police departments are hiring now and will welcome you with the respect you deserve.
