Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, who resigned in 2021 after multiple women accused him of sexual harassment, announced Monday that he has formed a new pro-Israel advocacy group. While support for Israel diminishes among Democrats and younger Americans, Cuomo reportedly contemplates a political comeback. Imagine a self-righteous TV evangelist begging for millions of dollars from hard-working Americans while preaching about the importance of living a conservative and biblically moral lifestyle. But then has the unfortunate bad luck of being arrested while having a homosexual encounter in a hotel room full of drugs. Let's shed some light on the story that Cuomo now wants us to believe. Thank you. Thank you to Carnegie Hall Chairman Robert Smith and his entire team. Thank you for your hospitality this evening. Why don't we all give them a big round of applause? Thank you. Congratulations to Rabbi Schmooly-Botech. Rabbi thank you for all your great work on behalf of the Jewish people and on behalf of a more inclusive just society for all. We thank you Rabbi and we applaud you. And it's my pleasure to join all of you on this special evening, my friends in the Jewish community and those of us here who support it. And it's my honor to mark the life of Eleanor Esther Alka Paul. A life well lived because it's a life of values, the value for human life, human dignity, the value of aesthetic, justice and social justice. We honor her memory and we are inspired by her example. And we take it to heart today because those values are critical issues at this most pressing time. The world is in crisis. We're in the midst of a storm, a storm of antipathy, a storm of anxiety, a storm of antagonism. Russia, Ukraine, China, Iran, the Middle East, everywhere you look. The United States, one of out of five Americans, believes that Jews are responsible for the economic crisis because they see Jews in Wall Street, they see Jews everywhere. The control of Hollywood is big. Yes, even in the mirror, in this country, growing division unrest and fear. And fear can make people dangerous. As we've tragically seen time and time again throughout history in the midst of the storm, antistemitism increases. When people say that Jews have do a loyalty or that it's all about the Benjamin's on one side or when people say that the globalists are trying to take over Congress and that Jewish financiers are trying to destroy our borders. And people don't call it out. And they say it's okay. So number one, I think it's infecting the public conversation congressman in a way that just wasn't happening a few years ago. And today antisemitism isn't just increasing, it is exploding. We see it in the shadows. We see it in the subtlety and we also see it in vicious and violent displays. Well, they say now there are reasons why antisemitism is increasing. It's not just because people don't like Jewish people. There are reasons why antisemitism is increasing. Yes, that's what they have always said throughout history. There was a reason. It's because the Jews are behind them. It's the Jews who are controlling financiers. It's Jews controlling foreign policy. 30% of the American people to this day believe Jews are more loyal to Israel than the United States. In Europe. I mean, to this day, the United States has something called the Strategic Oil Reserve Agreement with Israel. Under which it will guarantee supply Israel with oil in the event of a crisis, even to the extent of denying oil to its own people. I am. A survey of over 50,000 people in 96 languages in over 100 countries. About a quarter of the world's population holds views of Jewish people that are by ADL standards, antisemitism. Antisemitism. They are using anti-Semitic myths and tropes about globalists controlling government, Jewish money destroying our borders, dual loyalty to Jewish citizens, or attacking the Jewish state with the same danger it's myths that were used throughout history to demonize the Jewish people. And all of this destigmatizes anti-Semitism and renders it routine. Paul and Clostinile has a home. And it has a home alongside conspiracy theories about 9.11 or about the 7th of July tube bombings here in Britain or about the moon landings or about Princess Diana's death. And all these things just fit into these mixed together. And the old man said he had a reason. Hitler said Jews were genetically inferior and that's why Jews had diseases and that's why. They always said that they had a reason. For many anti-Semitic today, that reason is Israel. And we look at the events of September 11th and how that happened and the people who were responsible for it. We ended with conclusions that the United States has been dominated by interest groups that put the interests of America behind that in Israel. They tried to distinguish between anti-Semitism and anti-Zionism. But you must ignore history in order to make that differentiation. They ignored the fact that the world repeatedly closed its doors to the Jewish community. First of all, let's define anti-Semitism. Anti-Semitism is anything Jews don't like. It's anything Jews don't like. It's the only meaningful statement here. And so if you say something that Jews don't like, there are organizations like the ADL that can destroy you. And this is what we saw with Kanye West. This was one of the most successful operations. The Black Jewish Alliance and Jonathan Green Black wrecked it with the blacks by overplaying his hand. So Kanye should have jumped in and said, look, I lost a billion dollars and 48 hours. Who gave these people this power to wreck your life? It's not just me. They can do it to anybody out there. If you say anything that Jews don't like, they have the power to destroy you. Now I'm saying no one should have this power in America. We have no, we have a constitution that protects us against government overreach, but we have nothing that protects us against this type of terrorist organization and this control over the internet right now. Something has to happen here. We have to be able to say that we have first amendment rights when it comes to things like the platforming and stuff like that. They have to Britain in 1905, the United States in 1924, Latin America in 1930. There is no reason they never was and they never will be a reason that justifies anti-Semitism. David R. Francis, US ambassador to Russia, said in January 1918, the Bolshevik leaders here in Russia, most of whom are Jews and 90% of whom are returned exiles, care a little for Russia or any other country but are internationalists. And they're trying to start a worldwide social revolution. The Jewish role in the Communist revolution was mentioned in many major Jewish publications such as the Jewish Encyclopedia and the Universal Jewish Encyclopedia and the Encyclopedia Udaika. In fact, they are boasting about the essential role of the Jews in the Russian Revolution. The Jewish Chronicle said there is much in the fact of Bolshevism itself, in the fact that so many Jews are Bolshevists, in the fact that the ideals of Bolshevism at many points are a consonant with the finest ideals of Judaism. Of the 22 ministers in the first Soviet government, 17 were Jews. The few were not themselves Jewish, often where free masons had Jewish wives and spoke Jewish. We can't know for sure if Stalin was Jewish but at least he spoke Jewish and had three Jewish wives. Some historians claim that Stalin was Georgian and some say that he was Georgian Jew. Los Angeles ben-i-brith messenger for example stated that Stalin was a Jew. Stalin's real name was Losef, Visarianović, Zhu-Gajvili. The Jewish writer Mordits Steinschneider invented the term anti-Semitic in 8060. The term would be used to silence all those that dared to expose Jewish crimes because of the predominantly Jewish character of the regime, the very first piece of legislation approved by the communist regime was the anti-Semitism Act in 1917. Anti-Semitism was made a capital crime and anti-communist was regarded as an anti-Semite. Leon Trotsky also started using the word racist to brow in all dissenters of the communist ideology and to render debate impossible. These words are used still to this day to bully any politically incorrect person into silence. Even more now than ever, they're trying to make it punishable to question or criticize their actions by calling it hate speech, fake news or anti-Semitic. We can have political disagreements with Israel fine. We have political disagreements with many allies. These agreements are part of what it means to be allies so long as we respect each other's viewpoints and find the mutual path forward. But that doesn't mean we condemn the people for the politics. My friends, we are amidst a gathering storm and we must not ignore the lessons of history. We must remember them and we must remember them today. We remember when society allowed seemingly small slights against the Jewish community to go on answered and over time they metastasized to mass murder. There was a group in the Soviet Union and ethnic group and they were 85% of the government at a time when 30 million people were killed because of their religious beliefs and their ethnic background. This group made up 85% of the government and presided over these genocides in the 1920s and 1930s and this group was less than 1% of the overall population of the Soviet Union. If you want to guess what that ethnic group was. Jews, thanks for taking the time to talk me to Jesus. We remember that it was not just the actions of the bad that was the problem. It was the inaction of the good. Where were the good people? When this country turned away the ship St. Louis and sent Jews escaping Hitler's death camps back to Nazi occupied Europe. Three years ago I visited Auschwitz, death still hung in the air. Where were the good people? When this country and FDR were begged to bomb the rail lines that led directly into the concentration camps. Where were the good people? When hundreds of Jews hit in bunkers and fought for survival for their lives in the Warsaw ghetto. It went on for over one month and nobody came. When I ask you today, where are the good people after Powwowie, California, after Muncie, New York, after Jersey City, New Jersey, after Tree of Life, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania? Where are our leaders and government officials? We don't need more pandering with plightitudes and press releases. Where is the meaningful action for justice? How they say, the politics is hard. It's controversial. They say I'm afraid of the left. I'm afraid of the right. I know it's easier to stay seated. But when it's this important, you have to take a stand. We must demand accountability. You can't be pro-Israel. And have dinner with Nick Fuentes and Kanye West. Stand with white nationalists. Or allow members of your own party to make anti-Semitic remarks. It's time for our officials to condemn anti-Semitism, not just with their words. But with their actions, you can't denounce anti-Semitism. But waver on Israel's right to exist and defend itself. And it shouldn't be just how Jewish officials who speak. But it should be non-Jewish officials who speak first and loudest. Why? Because we all learned. Not me, Mueller. Then they came for the Jews. And I did not speak out because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me. And there was no one left to speak for me. Friends, tonight my father, the late great governor, Mary O'Comal, is sitting with the great Eleanor Esther El Capole. Right now. And I will tell you what he is saying. It is time for the Shabbos going. The Shabbos going can do the work that benefits both the Jewish community and the non-Jewish community. The Shabbos going can turn on the lights on the Sabbath because it benefits everyone. It is time to turn on the lights. I will stand and turn on the lights. I am starting an organization called Progressives for Israel. And I am going to call the question for Democrats. Do you stand with Israel or do you stand against Israel? Because silence is not an option. My friends, never again is not a prayer. It is a call to action. It is not passive. It is active. It will never happen again because we will never allow it to happen again. And we will do it together. hatred, isn't it? Jew hatred is as old as the Judean Hills. We work with Google on using AI to try to interrupt cyber hate before it happens. We work with YouTube to get them to change their algorithms so it lessens the likelihood that a young person is going to run into some of these anti-Semitic, conspiratorial videos. We work with Facebook on trying to use a redirect method so when you search for Holocaust as a hoax, you get directed to like a Yad Vashem. Anti-Semitism is a result of jealousy. It will require all of us working together to extract the hateful poison of anti-Semitism from our world. The scourge of anti-Semitism cannot be ignored, cannot be tolerated, and it cannot be allowed to continue. We can't allow it to continue. And we will protect Jewish communities and all members of the Jewish faith from the wicked forces of hatred and violence. And you know that and the love by evangelicals, Christians for Jewish people and for Israel is incredible. It's incredible. We have to get the people of our country, of this country, to love Israel more. I have to tell you that. We have to do it. We have to get them to love Israel more because you have people that are Jewish people, that are great people. They don't love Israel enough. You know that. You love them.
