I'm going to go to the bathroom and I'm going to have a drink. I'm going to have a drink. No more kids. No more kids in school. No more kids. No more kids in school. Civic Center. Go ahead and Civic Center. There's Civic Center at high school. There's a ticket. There's probably rules that high school rules. And I go to that in my car. I just went up to the fence. I don't know. That's fine. I don't give a bit about doubt. Sure? Oh, okay. Appreciate that. I also talked to a few officers out here on my way. And I could just hear the frantic terror in their voice is not knowing exactly what was happening. I guess they're really over because some of the officers went out. They're going to have to go to the bathroom. They're going to have to go to the bathroom. They're going to have to go to the bathroom. I also talked to a few officers out here on my way. And I could just hear the frantic terror. I also talked to a few officers out here on my way. And I could just hear the frantic terror in their voice is not knowing exactly what was happening. Is that the slot scene right there? The San Antonio? What they say? They look like they're in school. They look like they're in the kids' room? Okay, slot just got here supposedly and they're saying that one bit of gold. You don't hear anything? Facebook says or what people hear? The police website. I didn't hear that. I mean they look like they're not doing shit anymore. I also talked to a few officers out here on my way. Terror in their voice is not knowing exactly what was happening. Terror in their voice is not doing shit anymore. They said there's not much kids. And they're saying that there's not much kids in the school so I don't know. But others are saying that he's shouting so. Call the school and see what's up so I can go get them already. And we're not saying I'm a school tomorrow. I'm sure they're not going to have school tomorrow. And there's people in their... there's a cop crime. And it was a little kid, bro. They have a speaker and everything. Facebook? So what do you shoot over there? The trail. Oh no that's terrible. But more what we're seeing here right now. When we first got here a few hours ago, it was shortly after they brought that somehow have that suspect in custody. You don't know exactly what happened inside the school building today. But now that we're learning that to our dead and that so many are injured including so many children, it explains that the faces of the law enforcement who I saw them walking out of this walking out of the school earlier and visibly upset as we are out here today, just watching the scene unfold as many people are wondering what was happening out here today. I see in the faces the challenge of what was happening inside as the scene was unfolding inside today. Once again, if you're not familiar with this community, you Valde is a very small community out here, the border community. All of these surrounding counties are also very close knit and law enforcement EMS came immediately from these surrounding counties to support you Valde police and you Valde County Sheriff's Office. I'll also talk to a few officers out here on my way and I could just hear the the frantic terror in their vo- hear the frantic terror in their voices, not knowing exactly what was happening. Terror in their voices, terror in their voices, terror in their voices. I'm just murder of 19 innocent child. And I'm also noticing we saw DPS walk past, we saw Border Patrol walk past, we saw local county sheriff's walk past. They also seem to be grieving in a way. I know Max talked about Sutherland Springs and I was there shortly after that shooting. The thing I was struck by most was just how quiet it was with all those people there and all of the not only law enforcement and the ambulances and the media, just how quiet it was. We have Border Patrol here, we have DPS, we have local sheriff's here, we have ATF agents here and I can tell you each one of them that we saw is getting closer to hearing that information from Governor Abbott, you can see that sadness with them too and many of them gathered over the front of this sit-extent here and this is where parents have to go through show IDs in order to go inside and get some more information. It seems like there's family members there now but it just really is this heartbreaking eerie quiet. You can see that sadness with them too and you can see that sadness with them too and they also seem to be grieving in a way. They just said that all the fucking kids were out bro they lied. They just said that all the fucking kids were out bro they lied. They fucking lied bro look at that shit. Look at that shit bro. Look at that shit bro. They fucking lied bro. They fucking lied bro. That's crazy. That's crazy bro they lied and said that all the kids were out and they just lied. They just lied. They're looking for somebody bro. They're looking for somebody. They're going into each classroom. Either they forgot about this classroom one. They're bringing more kids out. They're bringing more kids out. They're bringing more kids out. They're bringing more kids out. It's crazy but the formula. A lot of people from that town didn't know that they started from that town. You got the last kid out right there. You can be everybody now. Let me know when we can pick up the kids. Hello. Did you see that they lied? They fucking thought everybody the kids were all out and then they just finished taking two whole classrooms out. I guess they were hiding very good. They couldn't find them but right here in the front of Rob. They were hiding. They were hiding. Yeah. Dude I posted the video where they were fucking... Let me call you back. I'm sure the frantic terror in their voice is not knowing exactly what was happening. Now it's actually kind of eerily quiet. There are some people out on the front lawns trying to get a look. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. This is what isn't going to work out. This is what isn't going to work out. I've never heard of this before. I've never heard of this before. for sure, but from my feeling of how the how it is around the scene, probably not, probably not. Terror in their voices. Terror in their voices. Probably not. We saw helicopter staking off in all likelihood. It may just not be needed anymore at this scene. The school has been evacuated. We're just getting word of another update coming in from University Hospital. Let's go over to Tim Gerber. Yeah, we're waiting for that other helicopter to arrive that you guys were talking about possibly transporting another child from the scene there in Yvowdy here. We're keeping an eye on things here. No new information has been released by the hospital at this point, but as soon as we see some activity here, we'll come back and let you know. But right now everything is pretty quiet here at the hospital. No, but right now everything is pretty quiet here at the hospital. No, but right now everything is pretty quiet here at the hospital. Tim Gerber, we check in. What do you thank you so much? Thank you, Jim. And you also mentioned that the hospital is not expected to receive any additional patients from Yvowdy at this time. Right. That's what they told us. As you know, they care for patients sadly when conditions like this happen. They are prepared to take more as needed, but they did tell us at this point they have not been told to expect anymore right now. Okay. Thank you, Jim. And lastly, I know as you can imagine, this is just beyond heartbreaking. Have you been able to see any families gathering around the hospital at this time? Our location is about a block and a half away. We did ask the spokesperson. They said they have not seen any family members as of yet. Again, it may be too soon just to make the drive here from Yvowdy, but we're being told that there are no family members or friends here yet maintaining a vigil for their loved ones and their friends. So I'm sure that'll happen later, but at this point, no one from Yvowdy has been seen here. We're looking at the hospital. Order is on different parts, different scenes because there are multiple scenes right now. We want to go to Henry Mayo Hospital and then Adela is there right now where we are waiting for this news conference. And do you have any information to share with us? Have a press conference. They're expecting to have a doctor out here to hopefully provide some more information on the situation. And another question for you as you were arriving there. Did you see any parents? That was the situation. What did it look like outside of the hospital? Did you see community members outside? You know, I can tell you, Adrian, that getting here was a bit of a challenge. We had several other locations that we were driving around to. We were going to Central Park. We're going to the high school. We're going to bouquet Canyon Church. So just maneuvering through that entire mess, unfortunately, really delayed us in getting here to the hospital. Once we arrived, everything seemed a little bit low-key. We did see other media position outside. But again, they have been very accessible in providing us this room and allowing us in here. We haven't seen a whole lot of parents gathering out here. It's mostly around those other locations. Again, near the high school, near Central Park, near the reunification centers where we're seeing just a lot, a lot of traffic, a lot of emergency officials, public emergency responders, bringing out to those specific locations the streets are completely saturated with emergency vehicles. We have seen parents gathering at corners walking into the locations that they're trying to make their way into here at the hospital, though a very different scene. Again, we have media outside here indoors as well, but not the crowds or the parents that we have seen at the other locations gathering so far. All right, Annette. Thank you so much. We'll check in with you. And during that news conference, so we can get the latest. We haven't seen a whole lot of parents gathering out here. What did you say? We haven't seen a whole lot of parents gathering out here. We haven't seen a whole lot of parents gathering out here, parents gathering out here. That ambulances that once surrounded the school for the most part are now gone. And so the scene has moved over to Delion Civic Center. Many minute now, we're going to be starting a news conference where hopefully the consolidated independent school district will be able to tell us what happened at the school. And then, of course, the Evalid Police Department telling us what happened leading into that, because there are a sort of stories that this started outside of the school and went into the school. We don't know. And if you read social media, you'll hear 17 different theories and some of them are believable, some are not. But we're going to wait to get the facts. But what we do know is that this all unfolded at Rob Elementary, a second to fourth grade school in Evalid, consolidated independent school district, 80 miles west of San Antonio. We know multiple people injured in the aftermath. We know two students dead. We don't know who is responsible. We don't know why this all unfolded. But what we do know is that we do expect that update from authorities, hopefully in the next few minutes. Now we saw from Gariburger who is live at Rob Elementary School. And it was almost eerily a calm situation. Again, multiple hours after all of this unfolded, we checked in with Lee Waldman, who is right here at the Civic Center. Now, this is where we expect to hear from the authorities. But this has really been the epicenter of where parents want to go to pick up their students. We just learned that 13 children were taken by ambulance to Evalid Memorial Hospital. And two children, we've also just now learning that two children have been taken to San Antonio to receive treatment. And one child is pending transportation. That picket morning. Yesterday was definitely a very chaotic situation. Sources were telling me there were actually victims being taken to this hospital right here with minor injuries because all of the ambulances were taken. They were actually riding in just regular vehicles that were around and people were responding to them. All of the ambulances were taken. All of the ambulances were taken. All of the ambulances were taken. All of the ambulances were taken. Well now, getting ready to come to the front, you see this group of people gathered here in the middle of your screen. I believe those are the people we've been seeing behind Vanessa and her live shots. And you can see people are starting to come out the side of the building. And some of the shooting victims were taken to Memorial Hospital in Evalid. And Stephanie A. Jimenez has been following the situation from there and has the latest. It is dark and quiet across the street from Evalid Memorial Hospital. You could say it's sort of symbolic of the... Just getting an additional update. Here is an additional live video from our World Car Sky Fox outside of Rob Elementary this afternoon. We're standing by right now with another update. This is a... Now you're looking at a live look here outside of Evalid Memorial Hospital. This is where at least 13 children are being treated right now at this hospital. We are just getting an update from Governor Greg Abbott confirming this afternoon in a press conference that 14 students have been confirmed dead and one teacher. This is coming from Governor Greg Abbott just confirming that 14 people have been confirmed dead in this shooting two officers also struck. And you are taking a live look there. You can see a stretcher being rolled out. The governor also saying he does believe the gunman is dead. This is a live look from the air now. You can see authorities on the scene, very active scene there again, a stretcher being rolled out from Rob Elementary School in Evalid, Texas. Now we are waiting for an update from law enforcement. Of course we'll bring that to you live as soon as it happens. But we do want to let you listen into what Governor Abbott had to say just a short time ago. It is dark and quiet across the street from Evalid Memorial Hospital. You could say it's sort of symbolic of it is dark and quiet. It is dark and quiet. But you go back to the timeline. There was a garage. Hundreds of rounds, hundreds of rounds, hundreds of rounds were pumped in in four minutes. Okay. We'll go to classrooms. Our goal today is to provide the parents, the community of Evalid, the public as much information as we can and where we are on the investigation. We're here to report the facts as we know them now, not to defend what was done or to criticize what was done or the actions taken. We'll begin first and foremost with the timeline as we know it. Press vehicles over here. The crash vehicle is over here. Suspect. We're mighty behind a vehicle. We start walking down, shooting into the classroom. We start walking down, shooting into the classroom. Shooter at Rob Elementary, law enforcement is on site. Your cooperation is needed at this time by not visiting the campus. No information on the suspected shooter was released. We did later have the schools say that these students from that elementary school were being transported to the local civic center for reunification. They were still encouraging parents to stay away from the campus and all of their campuses were under a lockdown status due to a government. They were still encouraging parents to stay away from the campus and all of their campuses were under a lockdown status due to a gunshots in the area. So district did, again, tell parents not to pick up their children. Students needed to be accounted for before being released. Rob Elementary is about 80 miles west of San Antonio and these live pictures are coming in here live, run, unfiltered. The students are still encouraging parents to stay away from the campus and all of their campuses are under a lockdown status due to a government. The students are still encouraging parents to stay away from the campus and all of their campuses are under a lockdown status due to a government. The students are still encouraging parents to stay away from the campus and all of their campuses are under a lockdown status due to a government. In 133 the suspect begins shooting into room 111 or 112. It's not possible to determine from the video angle that we have at this point in time. We do know this. We do know this. We do know this. Okay, 11.30. Oh wow, that's really spot on. Okay. Excuse me, sorry. No, you're fine. So, and so, like, you know, I was kind of seen, like, if I can find anything else, but around that time, that's when I started seeing a bunch of traffic show up. You know, I'm assuming it was concerned parents. They started parking along the side of the road. And then eventually, we saw the notification go out from the school that it was on lockdown. So, we figured, okay, something's going on. Okay. You know, you heard the gunshots and then just kind of put it together. Like, okay, something did happen. Well, I appreciate your time. Thanks for your information. It's helpful and reporting live near Rob Bellon entry school, Evali Asperin. That he shot more than a hundred round. That he shot more than a hundred round. That he shot more than a hundred round. But you go back at the timeline. There was a barrage. Hundreds of rounds were pumped in in four minutes. Okay. Hundreds of rounds were pumped in in four minutes, okay, into those two classrooms. So, oh, do you know what's going on? Do you have any kids here or no people in here? So, I was told that nine kids were shot. Nine kids were shot. Nine and a teacher. Additional information that we have is that there are 58 total magazines at the school. We're later to the crime scene. Levels magazines were inside the school. Three were on the suspects body. Two in room one, twelve, six inside room one, eleven. Five were on the ground. One was in the rifle. There were 32 magazines outside the school, but on school property. One just outside the school building in 31 and the suspects backpack that he did not take into the classrooms with them. There were 15 magazines at the crash site, 31 and the suspects backpack that he did not take into the classrooms with them. And the suspects backpack that he did not take into the classrooms with them. Oh, there's the AR. There's the AR. You can see the AR. Right there. 31 and the suspects backpack that he did not take into the classrooms with them. And the suspects backpack that he did not take into the classrooms with them. Oh, there's the AR. There's the AR. You can see the AR. Right there. So is this still an active shooting place? What's the serial number on the AR? There were 15 magazines at the crash site. There were two magazines, the suspect residence, for a total of 60 magazines. He had purchased and had a total of 1,657 total rounds of ammunition. 315 of those rounds were inside the school 142 of those were spent cartridges. 173 were live rounds. 92 were outside of the school, but of school property. 22 of those were spent cartridges. 900 were live rounds. 422 were at the crash site. 22 were spent cartridges. 420 of those were live rounds. There's 35 spent law enforcement cartridges total in the school. 8 of those were in the hallway. 27 were inside the classroom. 111 were the suspect was killed. Question. Question. Question. It is continuing to be a preliminary investigation. Literally, certainly over hundreds of interviews have been conducted. We'll continue to be conducted. There's thousands of leads that have been pursued. Not conceptively, but concurrently. And thanks to our federal and local partners. I do want to mention behind me, we've got the FBI Special Agent in charge. We also have the ATF Special Agent in charge or ASAC. And of course, who else would I have behind? With Texas Rangers and for any specifics that I haven't covered, but I might need their particular support on. Thank you. One guy you took there and started waiting for us. There was 19 officers in there. There were plenty of officers to do whatever needed to be done. I didn't really hear it, but my wife came in and got me. She said, I just heard some gunshots. I saw somebody running, so she thought that it was the person that probably was involved. But I went and looked at my cameras to see if I couldn't see anything. But I didn't see him in the camera system. But I did hear the gunshots picked up on the security. You know what? It was roughly what time that was? It was at 11.31.40 seconds. Okay, 11.30. Oh wow, that's really spot on. Excuse me, sorry. No, you're fine. I was kind of seeing if I can find anything else. But around that time, that's when I started seeing a bunch of traffic show up. I'm assuming it was concern parents. They started parking along the side of the road. Then eventually, we saw the notification go out from the school that it was unlocked down. So we figured, okay, something's going on. You know, heard the gunshots and then just kind of put it together. Something did happen. Well, I appreciate your time. Thanks for your information. It's helpful and reporting live near Rob Bill of Mantry School, Evaly Esparium. That he shot more than 100 rounds. That he shot more than 100 rounds. That was not so quick. 57. Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, with a bit of a hindsight. Hey, the better, hey, stand by, stand by. Hey, stand by. I got it. That he shot more than 100 rounds. That he shot more than 100 rounds. Why and how is being looked at right now? Not to say this. Hundreds of more, thousands of more leads are being looked at right now. Because we haven't answered all the questions. Michael Jackson's What? What? What? Yes sir? We're going to see you in these two. Yes sir. You know that. You're going to see your white smoke in these. You had at least 15 officers and shields on scene. Yeah. You did not reach the floor but still smoke in these two. Hey look like I've said it before. Is that well first of all? Oh there's the AR. There's the AR. You can see the AR. Right there. In 31, the suspects backpack that he did not take into the classroom with him. In 31, the suspects backpack that he did not take into the classroom with him. Oh there's the AR. There's the AR. You can see the AR. Right there. So is this still an active shooting? What's the serial number on that AR? Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey. Look. Hey. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. Hey, look. I've said it. I've said it. Hold on hold on. Hey, man. Hey, bye. Hey, time. Hey, I'm gonna go back and defending anything but you go back to the timeline. There was a garage, hundreds of rounds were pumped in in four minutes. Okay. who is responsible? All we can tell you about the shooter is that they are in custody as of one this afternoon. I think we need to start a little bit from the beginning. How this exactly happened, we do know that the shooter isn't in custody as of about one this afternoon, but we started getting calls about this just around noon for an active shooting situation at Rob Elementary and as part of the Evalde Consultated Independence School District, 80 miles west of San Antonio. So when we first started getting these calls and getting reports that there was an active shooter, we heard a number of theories. We still don't know which one will hold, but we heard there were shots fired people who lived near Rob Elementary reported hearing the gun shots. We also heard that the shooter was taken into custody, but that children were being evacuated. Some of them through broken windows of the school just trying anyway to get out. They were sheltering in place and then they were escaping anyway. They could even if they had to break a window. Then school buses began to take all of those children to the Delion Civic Center, not too far away from Rob Elementary. Those students were being evaluated at the Civic Center, accounted for and assigned to an area of a classroom as my understanding. Then the parents were being told to wait. That is where we are right now. The parents are still waiting in many cases to get their children. They're being asked to bring an ID with them. I'm sure that soon they're all going to be released, but they have not all been released yet.
