A busy day Monday for Interim Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and for Blue and White Party leader Benny Gantz, on forming a new Israeli government, on Middle East peace, and on Iran, with a meeting between Netanyahu and U.S. Treasury Secretary Stephen Mnuchin. It relates to Iran we have a shared view as to the threats that Iran poses to the region and to the world. In Middle East peace, U.S. senior presidential adviser Jared Kushner met with both Netanyahu and Gantz. For Gantz, a chance to look like a future Prime Minister, Kushner is deciding when to release the Trump administration's peace plan, eagerly awaited for more than two years. And on forming an Israeli government, Gantz giving an update Monday on where talk stand. I met yesterday with the head of the liquid party, Benjamin Netanyahu. And was a purposeful meeting. Unfortunately, we did not succeed in making any significant progress, something I hope we will manage to do in the future. Gantz also met Monday with possible kingmaker, Yisra El-Baitain, leader Avigdor Lieberman. Afterwards, Lieberman giving his update on the state of play. Sadly, all as he is the Netanyahu in dollars in the blame game. He talks about a unity government, but is leading us to new elections. But we should hope that despite everything, India will get to this government, a unity government, a broad national liberal government. Gantz has meetings planned in the coming days with the labor, guest share, democratic union and joint Arab lists. But there is no new Israeli government on the horizon. There's no Middle East peace on the horizon either. Just lots of busy days talking about both.
