The 'alleged' shooting of a woman police officer outside of the Libyan Embassy and the subsequent escape of the 'culprit' under the cover of diplomatic immunity, caused uproar at the time. So much anti Libya and anti bogeyman Gadaffi feelings were stirred up. As you will see, it is a typically poor C-rated UK movie production. Enough to convince a fast asleep me and most if not all of the population at the time. Just like the piss poor hoaxes of today really. They haven't improved much, if at all.
