The purpose of the aircraft wings is to carry the total weight and transmit the forward thrust into the plane. At the same time it has to be thin, robust and vibration resistant. So it's designed in the form of intertwined steel profiles. From an engineering point of view, it's impossible to keep tons of liquid fuel inside such a wing structure. And even if the whole inside volume of the wings was available for the liquid fuel, it would be impossible to meet the huge fuel requirements of those 2 jet engines.
