This is the closest Jupiter and Saturn have appeared in the sky since the year 1623 AD
Convergence happens every 20 years but this is less than 0.1 degrees apart so it’s a special time, or so we are told. Seems there was video of this event last year and they look just about as close.

So much for a "convergence" eh? SMH!

Sorry for the grainy appearance. Its the ffmpeg encoder we use here. Its set for small file size and not setup for good video quality. This is why you can upload a 100mb file and then download it at around 60% reduction is size. :/
