Tiffany Dover, a CHI Memorial nurse, fainting. Let's see, minutes after receiving the shot, she took questions from reporters and then this happened. Sorry, I feel like I'm doing this. Sorry. Hello. Well Cindy that's right five employees right here at CHI Remoral or some of the first people across the Tennessee Valley to receive some of those vaccinations so really a pretty exciting day. Now it was a mix between doctors and nurses who received those vaccines but they all worked directly in contact with COVID-19 patients pretty much daily so it was a very smooth process we were there live to watch all five people get vaccinated. All of them pretty much immediately had positive responses. Now about probably 10 minutes later we are interviewing a nurse who had received the vaccine and she started feeling light headed getting dizzy and then she passed out. So my name is Tiffany Dover and I am the manager in CCU. For my team this has been a hard time you know we persevered through it but I think that this vaccination also has a help and you know the fact that we can be proactive versus reactive is going to change the way this virus is taking over our lives so I'm just thankful that we have a chance to receive it here so how personally has it impacted your life? For me I have you know seen my staff have to learn a whole new world of nursing you know we have truly stepped up and you know people have picked up shift up a shift to help cover as this you know has searched and you know truly our team has you not it together it's you know between the physicians my nurses respiratory you know we've all worked to try to get the best care possible and it's you know it's been a challenge but we have reciprocations and I'm thankful for this team. When you woke up this morning did you know you're going to be receiving the vaccine? I did yet so you know all of my staff we are it's not a key effect you know we are in a covered unit so therefore you know my team will be getting first jet into the vaccine and I know that it really is a great opportunity to be able to get the best care possible.
