Years, almost a whole time here in Raleigh. I'm not an actor, just in case you got a high-dacker. Yep, I've been in the heart of it, been an ER, been in the ICU for many years. I'm here to tell you the media is lying to you. That my hospital right here in downtown Raleigh is at 60% capacity. We normally run 110. And we are 700 surgeries behind. We have entire floors shut down. I literally just got another text from my supervisor, You went off tomorrow? You went off tomorrow? I don't have that many vacation days. I'm here to tell you that when you see these pictures of these nurses, but they're mass-based on, guess what? That's nursing. That's nursing. I'm not here to tell you to make fun of it, because I'm going to tell you right now, there have been times I literally couldn't go another day I was so tired. But guess what that was from? The flu. I mean, we've had EMS bring patients in to where we couldn't have them get them off the truck. We didn't know where to put them. We had run out of room. I had to leave on a Saturday night at 7 o'clock. When I come back to the ER 12 hours later, those people are still in the waiting room. Still waiting to be seen. But guess what? Now, you go to any hospital in Raleigh, you get seen right away. I'm going to tell you that nursing is hard, just general, it's just hard. It's hard when you've got a sick patient. It's mentally, physically draining, emotionally draining, but we're not seeing them. I worked yesterday, and my eyes for you, that designated for this virus, was empty. It was empty. The medical floor that designated for this has never been full. And I look every day. I look every day. I'm just going to tell you that these nurses that are going on TikTok, we all can agree that we all kind of goof off when we're down time, whatever. Most of us are smart enough not to post it. But by the line, this nursing is hard, but please don't let this skew your idea that we can't go out, we can't go out. You've got to go out, you've got to get exposed, you've got to build your immunity, that's what it takes. You've got to go out. Oh! Go! I just want to let you know that don't believe, don't believe the lies. God bless you.
