The Frisco Police Department is seeking to criminally charge a person who created a fake account on Twitter; pretending to be Chief David Shilson. The account was circulating false information about the Metcalf hoax. This was deliberately done to demonstrate a need for censorship and online authentication /digital ID.

The father, Andrew Anthony, also said that the family plans on purchasing a new house with the money as well as security personnel, because the family has received numerous threats from "racists." The family stated that their address was leaked online and they now fear for their lives. Karmelo Anthony was only required to put up 10% of that $250k bail. The Give-Send-Go account was not touched. That donation page is still up (May 12th).
