As with the same test done over lake Michigan by YTer "rob skiba", and on the coast by YT channel "wide awake" there are more factors here. At the TC 5 min you will notice a few things. --1:The tower is greatly magnified by the atmosphere in front of it both side to side and up and down. compare.. --2: This is a very bad day to test and am sure if went back on a day with good visibility like all those done at salton sea, we would see almost to the shore with a good zoom. I have laid my camera and tripod down to 14 inches and shot the shore 7 miles away. Some days its there and some days its not.. the RELEVANT thing is tho.. it IS there some days!!!! Search a famous one now called "skunkbay" on YT and watch a full day of things going behind "curve" and then coming back from a news team web cam, So the factor determining this is simply the atmosphere on any given day. I do not see a need for refraction IMO, to even be brought into this as its variable would not change much given the quality of the test day. This is apparent at TC 3:35 when the lower lights are barley visible. Did the curve grow? No!!!!!..-- Since you uploaded this here I would take it that you are doing so to have it put to the test. so..
