PG&E Admits Starting California Wildfires! PG&E realizes that not everyone wants to get their house burned to the ground this next fire season. IMPORTANT INFO FOR OPTING OUT:

1) First thing is to get rid of your Smart Meter. Opting out of your Smart Meter is easy and legal. There may be a small charge -- but we're talking about your house here. Get rid of the thing, now.
2) Know where your main electrical switch is located and know how to turn off all the electrical on your home. If there is an evacuation, make sure you turn off your main, Smart Meter or not.
3) Be able to disconnect the battery on your car. The cars burn the way they do because of the strong power source within them. Again, if they are evacuating you, disconnect the battery to your car.

You may want to protect your home this fire season. I know I do.
