Canada like England followed by Australia began a firearms confiscation program (after starting a firearm registry back in the late 1990s) starting With Winnipeg, Manitoba and Cape Breton, Nova Scotia in Canada which to most of us is obvious that the gun registry made criminals out of good people like you and I and did not do anything to real criminals: bank robbers, gang members, biker gangs, mafia, etc.Throughout the globe HISTORY has shown that tyranny follows after they confiscate guns, I remember former Canadian Liberal Minister Of Justice Allan Rock in the late 1990's telling Canadians to register their guns as "it's only a piece of paper that we are not going to do anything with it", look now.

As many of you fellow Canadians recall many people have filed FOIPOP requests under the Privacy Act over the decades and it was found that a reasonable percentage of the data was wrong also the gun registry in Miramichi, New Brunswick was $7 billion dollars over budget this was in decades ago financial standards so more now and the contract was given to Liberal Party friends=conflict of interest.
